Preparing for Our New Bee Experiences
We are excited to be preparing two new apiary sites for 2025, creating fantastic new locations for our hands-on Bee Experiences in the Suffolk countryside.
The aim is to give visitors the opportunity to learn more about honey bees, discover what happens inside a working hive and experience beekeeping first-hand.
Getting Ready for Spring
Although November may be grey and muddy, this is the perfect time to start preparing everything for the new season.
We are setting up new hives ready for some of our calmest colonies to move in, making the sites ideal for visitors who are getting close to bees for the first time.
One of the new apiaries sits alongside a newly seeded wildflower meadow on an organic farm, providing excellent natural forage for the bees throughout the warmer months.
A Great Setting for Bees and Visitors
The new location also offers good access, parking, toilet facilities and a café, making it a comfortable and practical setting for our Bee Experiences.
As the wildflower meadow develops and the hives become established, we expect it to become a brilliant place for both bees and people.
We cannot wait to welcome our first visitors in 2025.
